Community Education Seminars/ProgramsFamily Counseling Service has a variety of community services that include educational seminars, workshops, and self-help support groups. Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)We are aware that family problems, addictions, loss/death and a multitude of other life difficulties can affect the performance of an employee. Most employers would like to provide counseling in their Employee Assistance Programs, but many find the existing programs cumbersome and a poor fit for their situations. FCS recognizes the need for versatility and flexibility as well as competitive fees in an EAP and has designed programs that will do just that. Internship ProgramsIn affiliation with the University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, and other universities in the Commonwealth, Family Counseling Service provides clinical and administrative internship placements.
